Cupcake Stand and filling it with cupcakes for our wedding breakfast rather than selecting the more traditional type of cake. My mum was married way back in the 1960s and she is a traditionalist through and through. It must have come as bit of shock to her when I mentioned our
Cupcake Stand idea. The thing is; plenty of happy couples are having cupcakes as their main wedding cake and I think it`s a brilliant idea. I`m not a massive fruit cake fancier at the best of times so this makes a viable alternative that I can actually enjoy. It`s possible to buy a sturdy stand and then place each individual cake upon it. Sizes of the stands vary and you can buy units that hold anywhere from 40 to 150 cakes. Disposable versions of the stands can make cost effective options because they look fabulous when the cakes have been placed upon them, yet can be discarded afterwards when the guests have helped themselves. Mum might not be happy but we love the idea of using a
